It's 14k gold filled for lasting durability.  14k gold filled is considered to be the next best thing to 14k.  The finish is a bonded layer of 14k over a base metal.  Much more durable than gold plated.

The necklace is also available in sterling silver.

The length is adjustable up to 2 inches.  You may choose from 16 - 18 inches or 18 - 20 inches.
